A high rise lengthens the legs and gives you a defined waist. Tuck in your top or wear a cropped knit to show it off.
Length
The hem should almost brush the floor in the shoes you will wear most. Hem them for heels and they will drag with flats, so choose before you alter.
Fabric
Fluid fabrics like crepe and wool blends move beautifully. Stiff cotton holds a sharper shape and works best for a more casual look.
