Designers paint, scan, repeat and recolour the same motif dozens of times until it flows across a seam without a visible break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Painterly florals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Loose, brushy flowers feel softer than crisp digital prints. They look best on fluid fabrics like viscose and chiffon, where the movement of the fabric adds to the movement of the paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abstract cut-outs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bold paper-cut shapes in two or three colours make a strong statement on swimwear and simple shift dresses. Keep accessories minimal and let the print do the talking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Match one colour from the print in your shoes<\/li>\n\n<li>Keep jewellery gold or silver, not coloured<\/li>\n\n<li>Choose a plain cardigan or blazer to layer over the top<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of this season\u2019s best prints began as paintings.
