It is the colour. Bolts of wool in moss, rust and midnight are stacked like tubes of paint, and the cutter moves between them the way a painter moves between a palette and a canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proportion is the brushstroke<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A painter decides where the eye lands first. A tailor does the same with a shoulder line, a lapel width or the exact point where a jacket breaks at the hip.
